Frequently asked questions
That's an excellent question and is the very reason this particular glide bait is literally in a class of it's own. It is also why it's so unique and special in that YOU decide what sink rate the bait is! The Giga Shad is designed with a Patent pending, first of it's kind, innovative chambered weighting system that gives YOU, the angler, the option to micro dial-in on the optimally desired sink rate needed for any given body of water you choose to fish on! 🟥 = Slow Float (can be worked to 2-3 on retrieve)
🟨 = Slow Sink
🟦 = Moderate/Fast Sink (for deep presentations all the way to 35'+
There is no set schedule for times in which the Giga Shad will be live and available for purchase on our official online store. The baits will randomly drop throughout the year as available.
Stay informed by being signed up to the official Collins Customs Giga Shad Newsletter & Email update blast that will go. out from time to time. That will be the first (quickest) way to be aware as to when the drops are coming so that you can plan accordingly. We hope and aim to send out these alert emails within a week or so of the upcoming drop.

Another excellent question! It's actually BOTH! That's, right... the Giga Shad was designed to be fished as either a slow/wide sweeping glide bait AS WELL AS a faster, snappier chop bait that slaps hard with it's twitch and slide movements. Just pull the pin from the joints and either tighten or unscrew the eyelet screws to get your desired acton....
Turn eyelet screws in (closer to head of bait) = Glide
Turn eyelet screws out (closer to tail of bait) = Chop
